Last Day

We spent the last day at the hotel pool.  It was much cooler and a nice down day.  Sally got 2 naps in the crib and CE got plenty of pool time.

In the evening we headed to La Jolla for Lizzie's birthday dinner.  It was so nice seeing them, Madi and Aidan are great big cousins, so sweet and interested in their little cousins.  In fact, all of the girls cousins are that way, such sweet kids they all are.

It was hot and tiring, but it was a really fun vacation.  Just what we needed!

Legoland

We spent Friday/Saturday at Legoland. One on our own on Friday and the next day with lots of cousins! Two very hot days!

The highlights: 

Carrie Ella got her drivers license! She rode her first roller coaster, the Coaster Sauraus! 

Our little trooper Friday night.  She was so hyper!  But eventually crashed.

Saturday.

Carrie Ella started the day tough, wouldn't go on the story brook ride.  So Sally and I went with Debbie and the kids.

Cousins!

She eventually came around, even tried letting go around the turn.

After watching her cousins go on this ride, CE said she wanted to go.  Her cousins are all so sweet.  Hyping her up, telling her how its going to be fun.  She looked pretty traumatized during the ride though. I thought for sure the roller coaster would be out of after this.

On line for her first roller coaster. She was pretty excited, didn't show she was nervous. On the first hill she did cling to me, but she survived!

Disney

A long very hot day, but fun. CE got scared on all the rides other than the carousel and Dumbo ride. Why does Disney have to include a creepy element into just about every ride?

Sally loved Its a Small World. (Probably just happy to be out of the stroller.)

The highlight was going to Pixie Hollow. We met Fawn and Iradessa, went back again later to meet Tinkerbell!

Carrie Ella didn't want to take a picture. She was a bit overwhelmed at first.
