Carrie Ella Maloney: A week with Mammi & Nelson

Eagerly awaiting Mammi's arrival with some George and a book Tuesday evening. She's a multi-tasker like her parents.

Mammi arrived and joined Michelle, Char & CE up at the Madrona playground Wednesday morning.

Carrie Ella was happy to meet Nelson the sock monkey. She took great care of him during his stay.

She enjoyed looking at pictures on Mammi's iPad, well kind of. The first time she watched a slide show of pictures of herself to The Rainbow Connection she got very upset. She did better looking at pictures of her cousins.

Thursday I worked in the morning then took Mom to the Pike Place Market. We also stopped by Lake Union for a coffee then to the Bottlehouse for a lovely glass of wine.

Friday we went to the Seattle Center. It was Nelsons first time so he loved taking in the sights!

He loved the fountain show at 10:00 AM, but CE was scared.

Then we headed to the Children's Museum

After a Mod pizza lunch we headed home. CE and Nelson were ready for a nap.

Time to read Nelson one of her favorite bedtime books, Please Baby Please.

She loved "reading" the interactive version of There's a Monster at the End of This Book on Mammi's iPad. Mammi and CE were looking so pretty Saturday morning so I couldn't help but take A LOT of pictures. Here are a handful :-)

Morgan came to watch CE Saturday afternoon and we grownups went to Pike Street Fish Fry for some yummy fish n chips then out to Woodinville to a few wineries.

Sunday we decided to go to the State Fair in Puyallup.

The weather was not good. It monsooned. The corn fritters were pretty amazing though. Martha was a pretty good sport about it all.

We saw lots of cows and goats.
