Summer Blast weekly update

Preschool Campers

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my. This week in preschool was spent Under the Big Top. We made craft cotton candy, and practiced our dance moves, shared stories, and practiced our performance skills. Our room was turned into a giant balloon pit, and we played games like bowling, candy land and bean bag toss. Friday we made costumes from paper plates and paper to create decorative hats and clown attire. We wore masks and painted our faces before joining up with Pre-K for our big Circus Parade.  Our favorite part of the week was making shaving cream cotton candy and we look forward to our outdoor adventures next week.

Extended Day PreS-PreK

This week we read all kinds of poems and even got to write some of our own. We express our emotions by using our senses to write our "What could it be?" poems. The children then got to make their own book filled with drawings and poetry. We also had a great time sharing our poetry books to each other.
